George Gaukler
VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The George and Audrey Gaukler Family foundation donated $10,000 to the Valley City Barnes County Public Library to support the restoration of the rotunda and dome on the historic 1903 Carnegie Library building.
George Gaukler made the announcement in the Rosebud Visitor’s Center. He highlighted the importance of how this foundation gives to worthy causes in the community like the library roof restoration project.

The foundation office will be established inside the Rosebud Visitors Center next year.
The $10,000 donation will help close the library’s “Close the Gap Library-a-radio-Thon” on Tuesday, December 10th from 2pm to 4pm on KOVC Radio. Join Steve Urness and a host of library board and foundation members during the radio-thon to help close the funding gap.
