Train Derailment Reported Near Cuba, North Dakota

CUBA, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A train engineer escaped serious injury following a train derailment near Cuba, North Dakota on Monday, December 30th.

Barnes County Emergency Manager Jessica Jenrich said the train was hauling sand, a non-hazardous material. She said 17 cars derailed.

Again no injuries were reported in the derailment south of Cuba, North Dakota. First responders received the call around 11:58am on Monday, December 30th.
