Jamestown Police Notify Residents of Two High-Risk Sex Offenders’ Address Changes

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department has issued notifications regarding two high-risk sex offenders who have recently updated their addresses within the city.

Venker’s criminal history includes convictions for:

Gross Sexual Imposition (2 counts): Convicted May 6, 2016, in Williams County District Court; sentenced to 20 years (8 years suspended), 712 days credit, and 5 years supervised probation.
Indecent Exposure: Convicted May 6, 2016, with a sentence of 1 year (served).
Felonious Restraint: Convicted May 6, 2016, with a sentence of 5 years (served concurrently).
3rd Degree Sex Offense: Convicted Jan. 24, 1995, in Baltimore, MD, sentenced to 3 years (served 33 days).

Anderson’s offenses include:

Corrupt/Solicitation of Minor: Convicted Feb. 2, 2001, in Stutsman County District Court, for engaging in sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old girl. Sentenced to 1 year with 48 days credit and 6 years supervised probation.
Aggravated Assault: Convicted March 25, 1999, in Stutsman County District Court, for striking a 17-year-old boy with a baseball bat, causing injuries requiring stitches. Sentenced to 5 years (suspended), with probation.

Anderson is currently on GPS monitoring and parole under North Dakota Parole and Probation.

Both individuals have served their sentences and are not wanted by law enforcement at this time. The notifications aim to enhance public safety, not to incite fear or harassment. The police urge residents to refrain from threatening, intimidating, or harassing these individuals, their families, or associates. Any such actions will be prosecuted.
