VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Running for public office is hard work. So that’s why a few organizations hold candidate meet and greet events or public forums to see where they stand on the issues of the day.
Event coordinator Madeline Luek said, “I am grateful that some candidates are willing to disrupt their lives to serve us. We should hear them out, regardless of whether they carry a “D” or “R” or “I” after their names if you like what they stand for, support them.” She said the public is invited to meet 5 candidates with varied life experiences and talents on September 15th.
Katrina Christiansen- candidate for U.S. Senate (D)
Trygve Hammer-candidate for U.S. House of Representatives (D)
Pete Gjovik- candidate for N.D. Senate (D)
Nancy Farnham- candidate for N.D. House of Representatives (D)

The meet and greet will be held Sunday, September 15 from 4pm to 7pm at The Vault Coffee Shop and Art Center located at 223 Central Avenue N, in downtown Valley City.
