LISBON, N.D. (NDHP) – A three-vehicle crash in Ransom County, North Dakota left one person seriously injured and another person facing charges.
The crash happened Tuesday, August 6th around 2:45 p.m. five miles west of Lisbon.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) says a Toyota Camry had stopped facing south on State Highway 32, waiting to turn left onto another road when a Honda Civic traveling southbound rear-ended the Toyota, pushing the Toyota into the northbound lane where it was then struck head-on by a northbound Chevy Cruze.
The 67-year-old Lisbon man in the Toyota was transferred to Sanford Hospital in Fargo by Sanford AirMed with life-threatening injuries. The 37-year-old Oakes, North Dakota woman in the Honda was not injured. She was charged with DUI and criminal vehicular injury. The 21-year-old man from Lisbon driving the Chevrolet was not hurt.
