HUNTER, N.D. (NDHP) – Three people were seriously injured in a two vehicle crash south of Hunter at the intersection of Highway 18 and Cass County 26 on Wednesday, June 25 at approximately 11:00 AM.
The Highway Patrol said a 2006 Kenworth hauling a belly-dump gravel trailer was traveling north on Highway 18 when a Chevrolet Equinox traveling west on County Road 26 failed to yield to the Kenworth.
The driver and two passengers of the Chevrolet Equinox suffered serious injuries and were taken to a Fargo hospital for treatment. The driver of the Kenworth was not injured. The driver of the Equinox was cited for failure to yield.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
