Rods and Hogs Winners

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (Downtown Association) -The Jamestown Downtown Association held the 10th Annual Rods & Hogs Event Saturday, June 14th on 1st Avenue Jamestown.

The event featured Classic Cars, Trucks, Bikes and Rat Rods as well as displays by Jamestown Drag Racing Association, Jamestown Mystics, and Stutsman Harley Davidson. Kids and adults alike enjoyed the Pit Stop Sports climbing wall and the Gordons Towing swing. Harlow Bus Service also showed a full size school bus with games and prizes.

Hogtime BBQ, Sweet Dreams Mini Donuts and The Lemon Pit offered up some awesome culinary treats on 2nd Street and the Jamestown Downtown Association had their “hog” races for the kids.

After a most enjoyable day, awards were presented at 4 pm as follows:

The Best Bike Trophy and $100 Cash, sponsored by Stutsman Harley Davidson went to Shawn Norton with his 2003 Indian Chief.  2nd place and $50 cash went to JC Woehl and his 2015 Indian Chief.  And 3rd place and $25 cash to Jamen Windish and his 1980 Honda Express.

The Best Truck Trophy and $100 Cash, sponsored by Wilhelm Chevy GMC and S & R Truck Plaza, was awarded to Chloe Cloose and her 1977 K5 Blazer.  2nd place and $50 cash to Clint Eberl and his 1977 Ford  Ranger F 150 Northlander and 3rd place and $25 went to Kent Simonson and his 1969 Shag Wagon.

The Best Car Trophy and $100 Cash, sponsored by Dales Auto Mall and More was presented to Larry Burkle and his 1930 Chevy Coupe. 2nd place and $50 cash went to Jim Beck and his 1934 Ford Coupe and 3rd place and $25 to Rick and Lisa Briss with their 1972 Mustang Mach 1

The Best Rat Rod Trophy and $100 Cash, sponsored by West End Metal and Kleins Collision Center was judged to be Terry Hook and his 1938 truck.  2nd place and $50 cash went to Mike Oster and his 1952 Ford F 100 . 3rd place and $25 went to Francis Lee and his 1954 Ford F 100

Finally, the People’s Choice Award, sponsored by RM Stoudt Ford, Dodge, Jeep and PitStop Sports was awarded to Luke Marker and his 1968 Chevelle!

Many thanks to our judges and to all participants, committee members and attendees. We could not have asked for a more perfect summer day in ND to enjoy the 10th Annual Rods & Hogs!  We look forward to another great event on June 13, 2026!
