3 Injured in I-94 Crash Near Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Three people were injured after a truck, pulling an empty enclosed trailer, eastbound in the left lane of Interstate 94 collided with a van traveling eastbound, attempted to change lanes in front of the truck. The car driven by a 51-year-old Jamestown man sideswiped the truck, entered the median and rolled on Sunday, January 26th.

All occupants in the Chrysler were transported to Jamestown Regional Medical Center by Jamestown Ambulance. One of the passengers, an 80-year-old Jamestown woman was flown to Sanford Hospital in Fargo by Sanford AirMed. Her condition has not been released. The driver of the truck a 34-year-old man from North Branch, MN was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol. Other agencies involved included the Jamestown Police Department, Stutsman County Sheriff’s Department, Jamestown Ambulance, and the Jamestown Fire Department.
